FOOD REVIEW: another sangkaya #nitzeatz

Salam/hi everyone!

Ok I know the last time I posted on my blog I told you sangkaya-is-not-that-good  food but the second time I tried them I was like -- WHY I TOLD YOU GUYS THAT IT IS NOT DELICIOUS AT ALL? Dammnnnn, I love love love sangkaya a lot!

Ok, back to the topic.

I went to Food Empire @ MyTown with Mardhiah and Nadia to have lunch and I thought, why not I tried this one.

the price is not that bad and I thought maybe sangkaya taste the same at every stall but nope - this one doesn't taste GOOD just like the real boat noodle one!!.

It costs RM6.90,
9 pieces of bread,
a bowl of the dip ( idk what it's called hahaha)
rating: 2/5

meh, I still love boat noodle's sangkaya though!

Click HERE if you want to read my previous review about sangkaya (obviously I didn't realize it is the best sangkaya, EVER!)

Chinese New Year's food hunting!

Salam/hi!

First of all, I would like to say HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR to everyone who celebrate it! I know I might be probably late to wish this but it's ok. As long as everyone enjoy CNY this year!

I had my mid-sem break during this CNY week so here I am! Hunting some good food (finally!) hahahha

Let just start my adventure shall we?

1. MILANO cafe's lasagna

No other western restaurant can beat this heavenly delicious lasagna!
This lasagna costs me RM9.00
also, they serve it with a full plate of carbonara (i think) sauce!
ermmmmmmm so nyummmm!

p/s: MILANO cafe is located at food court, KLCC

2. J.Co Donuts!

I was waiting for my friend to withdraw some cash so I decided to have dessert at J.co!

This one called Oreo Cheesecake or something (I forgot) but the filling of this doughnut is cheesecake and on top of it is oreo crumbles!
one piece of doughnut cost me RM3.00
I only bought one tho hehehehehe

p/s: I went to J.Co Donuts @ MyTown, Cheras
pss: not only they have donuts, they also have some good burgers!

3. Angry Chicken

I ordered Angry Cheese Chicken
RM10.90

the cheese is in the chickennn. As you can see, there is cheese in the chicken which could melt your mouth away....

They have many more menus you can choose. They have box set, chicken pop, chicken chop etc.

ps: This is @ Angry Chicken, Low Yat Plaza

4. Nasi Ayam Hainan

My brother brought me here because this is one of a good nasi ayam here in KL.
So I tried their famous nasi ayam.
Nothing interest me.
I personally think the 'hainanese's sauce is quite salty. or maybe that's how the sauce should taste? because I never taste hainanese sauce before hehehe

oh, not to forget, their lemon madu is so so so sedapppppp.
it is one of their recommended menu!

Nasi ayam: RM11.00 (nasi ayam peha)
lemon madu: RM6.50

ps: @ Restaurant Nasi Ayam Chee Meng.

5. Family Mart's Ice Cream

I specifically chose cheesecake ice cream because I am not a big fan of matcha. so that's the reason why I'm getting myself cheesecake!

It really tastes sweet but to have a cheese cake as an ice cream? probably no.

maybe because I imagine it to taste like cake, fluffy and sweet but then it tastes like ice cream (obviously, lol)

Overall, I enjoy having it but it doesn't taste like how I want it to be hahahaha.

Price: RM2.90
Place: Family Mart

6. Pasta Zanmai

Iced Chocolate!! Finallyyyy

I am craving for iced chocolate for the longest time and finally it's here! Hehehehehe

Chicken Curry Katsu: RM22
Ice Chocolate: RM7

If you watched my vlog, you'll know that actually I was craving for some japanese foods!

The chicken curry katsu wasn't that bad but I personally prefer it to be eaten without the curry (?) hahaha
Probably because the curry is not that umph to me!

ps: Pasta Zanmai @ NU Central, KL.

that's all for CNY! Thank you so much for reading it! I hope you enjoy this kind of blogpost!

See ya when I see ya!

Secret Recipe’s Shinjuku Nutella Bake #NitzEatz

Salam/hi!

Few days ago I decided to hang out with my friends because we were having our Thaipusam’s holiday. So we wanted to try (and share) some of the foods we found interesting.

This shinjuku nutella bake was in the list.

I kind of disappointed with the taste because this food went viral when Kak Iman (blogger) tweeted that everyone should give it a try. A lot of people who have eaten it tweeted that it really tastes so gooood.

But it is a NO NO to me. It just another hyped up food.....

Why?
1. probably because it’s hangus. (I mean, the worker here probably baked it way too lama) (look at the picture, you can see the hangus part)
2. I don’t like nutella

3. It's expensive and not worth my money

I don't really mind spending THAT much amount of money on good food but it does not worth my money. or maybe because it doesn't suit my tekak. anyways,

they have 4 toppings;
1. nutella
2. caramel
3. maple
4.  (tak ingat pulak heheh)

Review

Price: RM12.50
Portion: One hungry people could buy two
Flavor: I think if you try the maple one will taste better than nutella
3/5 stars

See ya when I see ya,
buh-bye!

Food Review: Boat Noodle's Sangkaya

Salam/hi!

Today I am going to talk about this dessert that everyone has been lovinnnnnn!

To me, it just a hyped up food.

Why?
- it is because it just a normal steamed bread with the pandan(I guess) as the jam.

I really want to try it since I saw a lot of people said this dessert is so so so good! So I decided to give it a try. but sadly, it just a normal dessert.

Price: RM6.90 (exclude GST)
- it is affordable because u will get a loaf of bread (which a lot to eat by one person!). You can share it with your friends (and obviously ask them to pay it half #strategy!)

Taste?
- I will give it 3/5 Stars
- the pandan is looking good!

Ok, this is a very short and informative blogpost I've ever had! hahaha

Enjoy your Sangkaya, everyone! x

p/s: I had Cha Yen (Thai Milk Tea) as my drink!

Buh-bye!

#NITZEATZ : The best nasi lemak EVER!

Salam/hi!

Few years back, I had this nasi lemak because I didn't have much choices back then when we went to a shopping mall. I was being arrogant thinking that this meal which served at a small area (kind of like a stall(?)) aren't delicious at all. After I tried this and...

OMG, it is the best NASI LEMAK I've ever tried!

No kidding!

I love their ayam rendang so much! It reminds me nasi lemak the airplane served (if you had tried some)

The price and the taste?
worth it.

Location: Ah Cheng Laksa
Price: RM10.90
Another recommended meal: Pan Mee & Curry Laksa (my favs too!)

REVIEW | Penang Road famous teochew chendul

Salam/hi!

Last week before I went to my college, I managed to go for some food hunting with my cousin. We ate a LOT! I didn't know how I could everything in just ONE DAY! WOW! Anyways, let's go straight away to the review!

We ordered the Cendol Durian because I was really curious to know the taste of this super popular cendol! A bit disappointed because I thought they served it with the REAL DURIAN but instead it's the blended durian 😕

I'm fine with that. once it got into my mouth, I was shocked. It's not that bad actually. It tastes super good. But if you ask me on

- which one I prefer?
    - I prefer the original cendol one

It tastes good but you still think you prefer the original one (or maybe cendol pulut 😍 ) -- does this make sense to you? Hahaha.

REVIEW

1. Place ( @ Sunway Putra mall) : 9/10, because it looks super cool where you can just chill, talk and even have a date there! I loveeeeeee the place so much! ❤

2. Service: 8/10, because I love their cashier! I'm not sure what's her name but she is an old lady (not that old) but has this personality which makes me sooo comfortable talking to her. She is super super nice and soooo lemah lembut!

3. Price: 6/10, because I think it's a bit pricey (obviously because the place itself looks super fancy)

I think that's all the information I need you to know! See ya soon!
buh-bye! xx

FOOD REVIEW: Pastamania!

Salam/hi!

If you follow me on Instagram, you will know that I went to Sunway Velocity Mall on the last Thursday!

Well, the plan is we want to try out this Italian restaurant, Pastamania!

I ordered their Baked Cheese Rice(?). Unfortunately, my lidah kampung totally can't accept it! Luckily Nadia wants to exchange her meal with me. To me, her meal is not that bad, it just a bit muak. (Nadia's meal is the creamy linguine, in this photo her meal is on the top left)

This is Baked Fish Rice(?)

This is what I ordered! I really want to try Baked Fish Rice ever since we went to Secret Recipe few days before we went here. It smells and tastes like medicine! Urghhhh

The Real Deal:

  1. Food's Presentation: 8/10
  2. Service: They are so niceeee.
  3. Place: So comfortable (at Sunway Velocity Mall)
  4. Price: I was surprised most of their prices are cheaper than Secret Recipe despite their services and place
  5. Overall: 7.5/10
  6. *Extra point: they play good music! which I really enjoy!

Not to forget, the three of us manage to create new menu, Chili Sauce with cheese powder and Chili Flakes on top! Hahahaha

OK, that's all from me! If you have any questions about things you want to know more about it, comment down below!

Talk soon, buh-bye!

Pak John Steamboat & BBQ

Salam/hi!

Trust me, while typing this -- my saliva dripping out.

This is how the place looks like. They also have a private room for you, just in case you want to have a birthday celebration, reunion party or any event.

This one is how the steamboat & BBQ pot look like. The small circle is where you BBQ-ing your food. One thing that I disappointed about this pot is their BBQ pot is not big enough for me. Maybe because I prefer BBQ more that steamboat food. So, if you love steamboat, this place is a must-go place for you!

I dont want to complaint about their sauces. I'm glad they have ketchup and chili sauce. Hahaha because It's not easy to find these pair at steamboat restaurant. (not really sure about this.)

What makes them get into my heart, is their side dishes. They have cucur udang, spaghetti and etc.

These are their steamboat food.

They even have fruit section too! Another point why they got into my heart! 🍍🍏🍉

These are what I had! 😍😋

Their dessert -- IM DEAD.

I found that normally at a steamboat restaurant, they served you ice cream (most of the time). Meanwhile Pak John's is on another level. They have waffle and kaya balls too! WOAHHHHHHH

THE REAL DEAL:

  1. PRICE: Normal steamboat price, RM39.90 (So I think it's affordable?) But not for me. They have least food for BBQ which I dont really satisfied with that.
  2. PLACE: ECurve Damansara (Opposite IKEA DAMANSARA)
  3. SERVICE: Their waiters are super super super niceeeeee.
  4. STAR: (7/10) 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

That's all! BUH-BYE!

Reviewing Mr. Dakgalbi!

Salam/hi!

AAAAAARGHHHHHHHHH! Words can't explain how delicious this korean meal is! 😍😍😍 Totally in love! ♡

The first time I tried their meal was at Tropicana Setia City Mall on Chinese New Year. There weren't a lot of people having Mr. Dakgalbi at that time. I was shocked when I went to IOI City Mall and there were  A LOT OF PEOPLE QUEUING! 😱 We even needed to take our number to be seated. I was glad that we just need to wait for few minutes (almost half an hour). If not, We would probably going to eat at Seoul Garden tho 😂

We ordered the set meal for 2-3 pax and it cost for RM47

ADD ON ➡ Chicken (RM7) + Cheese Ring (RM17)

The 'Ring' contains a mix of different cheese like Mozarella and etc. (I only remembered Mozarella tho. Pardon my forgetful self 🤣) I don't know if it just me or anyone else but... My cheese didn't melt as what I'm expecting. 😟 It just sticky but doesn't melt enough...

These are side dishes we got 👉 Coleslaw, Kimchi and Fresh Radish. I only mananged to eat coleslaw because I dont like Kimchi. AT. ALL.

For the drink, we only had plain water. I think they serve plain water even if you don't ask for it. Not sure.

THE REAL DEAL:

  1. PRICE: To me it's pricy. Based on my student budget, I'll probably go here once in 3 months.
  2. PLACE; So far where I know is, IOI City Mall, Tropicana Setia City Mall, Setapak PV128, Mont Kiara.
  3. SERVICE: IOI City Mall 👉 They are a bit late (I guess because there are a lot of customers)
  4. STAR: (8/10) 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

That's all from my FOOD REVIEW!

P/S: psst, next food review will be Pak John Steamboat 👀

#3 OOTD! | in which pink symbolize women

Salam/Hi!

I just blogged (like few seconds ago) about HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY! which it doesn't have any educational content... so, I think it's ok if you just skip that post! BUT NOT THIS POST! Because it's all about OOTD 😂

In conjunction of International Women's Day, I wanted to wear something PINK! I just realized why PINK symbolize woman A LOT. This color itself reflects a soft and calm personality which that's  how we describe woman.

BONUS STORY:

If you read my previous post, I told you that I'm going to post about my reaction towards Korean Food on this post. So, here's the story begin:

We were so excited to have steamboat for lunch but unfortunately, there was no steamboat restaurant at Berjaya Times Square (yes guys I went there for two times already 😂 #ifyouknowwhatimean) So, we decided to have DuBuyo for our lunch. I tried korean food before at Ampang Point and I really LOVEEEEEE their Jjangmyeon (is it how you spell it?)

At Dubuyo, I wanted to try something new. We ordered Korean Chicken Wings, Sundobu, Maandu.

AND. I. COULDNT. FINISH. IT!

😑😫

This girl ah, so cannot go to Korea!

THE ONLY THING THAT I CAN ACCEPT IS:

#WHATASADLIFE 😓

Oh, that is CITRON TEA 🍵😀

Eventually, my younger sister and my cousin (the one in this photo) who finished all the food. 😂

But then, I ended up eating nasi lemak 😂😂

Moral of the story: DONT EAT AT THE PLACE THAT YOU NEVER TRIED BEFORE. 😂😂😂😂😂😂.

BUH-BYE!

Satay Is my first post? | REVIEWING SATAY KAJANG HJ. SAMURI

Salam/Hi!

I just got back from the place that I'm about to talk about actually, hahaha.😉 Who knows my first post is about food? 😂 Anyway, this is how satay looks like:

The brownish meat is chicken and the darker colour is meat (beef). It served with sauce called kuah kacang here in Malaysia. You can google it because I don't know how to explain it to you. A bit knowledge that I know, our country's neighbour SINGAPORE, they called it sambal kacang (?) Correct me if I'm wrong!

Here's what kuah kacang looks like the one in the bowl :

This is totally should be on your list food when you come to Malaysia!

You don't have to be worried about the place, it is so comfortable (even better than the last time I went here!) and they have two sections in the restaurant which is an air-conditioner zone and non air-conditioner zone. You can choose which place you would like to sit and have your meal!

HOW TO ORDER?
↳ They labelled all the table at there. So, you need to order your food (the menu will be at the counter) at the counter and tell them your table's number then you can order your food. (Hope this help!)

The best drink when you eat satay is Air Kelapa (translate: Coconut water) It is a fresh coconut which they served with the coconut too!

REVIEW:

Taste: 8/10 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Place: 8/10 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Service: 8/10 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

See ya on the next #nitzeatz! 💙💚💛💜💝

Buh-bye!
